NEW CBA COMMITTEES

The CBA Board of Directors have established the following committees which all CBA members in good standing are invited to sit on. The Committees are:

Education Committee

  • Research education resources and determine which resources are best for the CBA Members,  review requests for education partnerships and determine if curriculum is suitable to be endorsed  by the CBA,
  • Develop criteria for testing CE/PD Credits
  • Develop Continuing Education Credits for all members to be presented at AGM 2006

Marketing Committee

  • Responsible for quarterly newsletter, membership updates, promotional materials, brochure, etc.

Membership Committee

  • Oversees the recruitment of new members, member retention, processing of membership applications, answering membership queries

Certification Committee

  • Researching criteria for certification according to the Standards Council of Canada.
  • Developing procedures to fulfill all requirements necessary to apply for designation

Media Committee

  • Responsible for press releases

Practice Committee

  • Responsible for reviewing existing form letters and developing new ones

If you are interested in serving on any of these committees, please let the Board know by emailing the Board atcbadirectors@canadianbookkeepersassociation.com. All committees report to the Board of Directors on a regular basis.
