Did you know that you need to file your taxes to get benefits and credits? Even if you had no income, your tax return tells us how much money you can get in payments from the Government of Canada. If you are new to Canada, join the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) for a free webinar to learn about the benefits and credits you could be eligible for. Topics include:
- Canada’s tax system
- Canada child benefit (CCB)
- Goods and services and harmonized sales tax credit (GST/HST) credit
- Ways to do your taxes, free tax help, and other CRA services
During the webinar, you will be able to ask questions in writing and CRA experts will respond. You can register for the webinar at anytime. If you are an organization that supports newcomers to Canada, we encourage you to register your organization and share the event details with your clients.
