The Canada Revenue Agency would like to share updates on the distribution timeline for the Canada Carbon Rebate for Small Businesses.
Before contacting us, we recommend visiting our website to view eligibility requirements.
When you will get the rebate
You do not need to apply for this rebate. We will calculate and automatically issue the rebate to eligible Canadian-controlled private corporations (CCPCs). If you are eligible to receive the rebate, we will send you a notice when the payment is made.
Payments have started to be issued.
If you are registered for direct deposit, you should see these payments in your bank account as “Canada Carbon Rebate” (this wording may vary based on financial institution).
Due to the Canada Post postal disruption, mail delivery is currently limited. Cheques issued for the Canada Carbon Rebate for Small Businesses will only be delivered once the disruption has ended. The postal disruption will not delay direct deposit payments.
