We’re constantly working to improve our digital services to help Canadians get the tax and benefit information they need. The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) has launched the Progress Tracker in My Account, which allows users to view the status of requests submitted to the CRA for the disability tax credit, taxpayer relief, and registering a formal dispute.
This new service enhancement will help taxpayers track the progress of their request from beginning to end.
What to know about the Progress Tracker
Using the Progress Tracker in My Account, users can track when requests submitted to the CRA are received, reviewed, screened, and completed.
While the tracker is currently only available for requests for the disability tax credit, taxpayer relief, and registering a formal dispute, we are working to expand the scope of available topics in the near future.
Note: only requests that were submitted on or after February 7, 2022 are displayed in the Progress Tracker.
How to access the Progress Tracker
My Account users can access the Progress Tracker from their Overview page.
If a taxpayer’s request is not yet available in the Progress Tracker, we encourage them to visit Check CRA processing times for a quick, self-serve option to find out when the request should be completed.
